The Thimphu Tshechu is held at Tashichhodzong in the capital city of Thimphu which takes place for three days. The Tshechu is witnessed by thousands of people, both local and tourists. The actual Tshechu is preceded by days and nights of prayer and rituals to invoke the gods. Mask dances like the Guru Tshengye (Eight Manifestations of Guru Rinpoche), Shaw Shachi (Dance of the Stags) and many more are performed.
Day 1: Arrival in Paro International Airport
- Upon arrival you will be greeted by your driver and guide from Amedewa Tours And Trek.
- Drive to Thimphu and visit iron bridge on the way.
- Tashichhodzong.

Day 2: Thimphu cultural sightseeing
- Buddha dordenma
- National Memorial Chorten
- Simply Bhutan Museum
- Bhutan Postal Museum
- Motithang Takin Preserve
- Traditional Paper making factory

Day 3: Thimphu Tshechu
- We will attend Thimphu Tshechu for half day and then visit centenary farmer’s market
- Visit Homestays and mingle with locals if interested.

Day 4: Drive to Punakha
- On the way, visit 108 Druk Wangyel Chortens at Dochula, popularly known as the Dochula pass.
- Punakha Dzong
- Suspension bridge

Day 5: Punakha to Paro
- We will drive to Paro and halt at the hotels or resorts in the evening.
- Paro Rinpung dzong
- Kichu Lhakhang
- National Museum

Day 6: Drive to Haa via Chelela Pass
- Chelela Pass
- Haa valley
- Lhakhang Karpo ( White temple )

- Hike to Tiger’s Nest in Paro
