Tamzhing Phala Choepa festival pays tribute to the Terton Pema Lingpa who was a discoverer of ancient hidden texts which helped spread Buddhism. The chams (dances) of Pema Lingpa being performed in this festival is unique and unlike any dances being performed at the Tshechu or festivals in other parts of Bhutan.
