Nimalung Tshechu is such a festival where locals gather to witness mask dances, observe the Thongdrol (large opplique with Guru Rinpochhe’s images), offer their prayers and also an annual joyous celebration at the Nimalung Dratshang in Bumthang with their families and friends. A perfect time for tourists to witness the local traditions, historical folk dances, authentic Bhutanese way of celebrations and interact with locals and hear their stories..
