Gasa Tshechu Festival - Amedewa Tours and Trek

 

Gasa Tshechu is held in the remote district of Gasa, home to highlanders of Bhutan. It is one of the unique festivals in Bhutan where various mask dances are performed by the monks with traditional songs and dances  performed by the locals. The highlander communities rejoice themselves with friends and families in their colourful costumes, Gho for men and Kira for women.
